I loved all the input on my post from yesterday. It seems like we all have experienced bullying in some form or another.....unfortunately. As I keep learning in life, we can only control the way we act. Again, I'm thankful to know so many thought-filled and sweet people. Now onto a lighter subject......

hoping to never read about or see another picture of my hair again waiting to read about my marvelous hair adventure-June edition.
I'm happy to report that I went back to the same stylist at the same salon....can I get an amen?! I left the salon a little worried....but after styling it on my own, I'm pleasantly surprised again. Phew.
This time she even charged me $2 less than last time...spending only $18. Woo hoo!

Carla..Yes, I've been doing my own brows since high school. I inherited my dad's brows..they are thin naturally.
Whimzie and Tiff..I painted on a few highlights from a $4 kit I bought! Plus, my hair lightens very fast in the sun.
Love it! and for only $18!?!?! plus $4 for highlights? I pay about $130 more but I sure do not trust myself adding highlights to my own head or anybody else's for that matter. Definitely keep going to that stylist!
You got out for $18. My shampoo when I have braids cost that much...LOL!
Your hair cute is very chic and stylish...I love the fact it's not the typical ...mommy ponytail (please don't take that as an insult if you have a mommy ponytail.) I just mean you've taken the time to keep yourself looking nice. I've got eyebrows like yourself...I'm always trying to make them look thicker.

How do you do it? Have your hair short and still look so thin and like a star? I am conviced that short hair makes me look plump and don´t want to go back to it. But you on the other hand! You look great! Praise the Lord this hair dresser worked out.
I just read your article on bullies. My boys are confronting this a lot. I have in my lifetime too from women. I am conviced they are insecure power hungry, selfish women! But I am not bitter. just better for the experiance and I am with you we must learn to respond correctly. It´s in our attitude. It´s a long road but we will learn it one day. ;)

18??? Now that's a deal!! And you look gorgeous! You colored it yourself? Wow. That takes talent. I've tried many, many, many times to color my own hair and it usually looks terrible! The color looks great with the color of your eyes!
