TGIF

I am still trying to find the camera uploader thing. While searching, I realized that so much still needs to be found or put in it's proper place. If I want to get all deep about it....I can say that this is true beyond just concrete things. I'm actually not in the mood to get that deep right now, so I will just skim the surface a bit.

I'm allowing myself some grace after our move. We have decisions in various areas to make-from big to small. I have days where I feel all chill and like I am one step ahead of things, and then suddenly the chill fades away and I am three steps behind.

All of this is normal. The beauty of our move to NJ is that I clearly remember how things take time. Settling in takes time. Finding our groove takes time. So, as I said....I'm allowing myself grace(thankful for grace).

Hello Again!

I'm sitting here waiting for Greg to return from Lowes. I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to decisions about our home and organization, so it's a big deal that I am sitting here while he is there.(phew-I could have made that sentence even more run on, but I stopped myself). Earlier, Greg and the boys took Grandpa to a German deli in the city. They all love German food....so they should be well fueled for our many projects.

After moving back to our home state a month and a half ago (yep!)....and purchasing a house (Greg actually did that on his own-again a big deal for me)...I decided I wanted to post some before and after pictures. It's been a slow process settling in and getting used to our space. I have to say, I get soooo excited when I find the perfect fit....pillow, picture, shelf, whatever,....at a frugal price. I took some before photos and hope to post them later.

It's a cold windy day in upstate NY today. The perfect day to get a few projects completed.

Hello?!

Oh my word, I have written this first sentence....only to delete it....several times. It's time for an update, but I'm not even sure where to begin. I hope to grab my camera later today(or tomorrow, the next day?) and share some changes that we have made over the past month. My dear friend requested that I share a photo of my favorite room in our new home. So, I will try to do that....later
