What Up Dawg....I Mean Dog?

I love that Ross and Sam...though just having turned 7.....still like to wear their dalmatian rain coats. In fact, the first drop of rain and they think...hey, lets go somewhere in our coats.

They fall right into character......they become one with their inner "dog".

I love they don't notice the other kids making fun of them as they walk through the grocery store, I love that instead they find joy in making people smile.....and they have fun just being silly. And, I love that they have each other to be silly with. We should all try to find our inner dog.....no not our literal inner dog....just being silly now and then. Risking embarrassment can make you smile...or others smile. I have learned a lot from these sweet boys.

The day will come when we embarrass them just by walking within 10 feet.

I love that they're still CHILDREN!!

This is so cute. Have a great day.

and yes...carpoolqueen...my oldest asked me to "drop him off at the corner" recently...and he didn't want to kiss me goodbye. I made him say "love ya"! They just keep growing.

Oh my gosh....that is soooooo cute!!!!

I know what you mean too!!

LOLOLOL...my oldest son, Isaiah could be like that too! One time, the kids and I were on the way to Wal Mart and there was this cool song playing on the radio. Anyway, when I parked, he goes, "Don't turn the music off so I could get out and dance." I was all, "No way!" Hahahahahha!

As always, your boys are so cute, Mary. Those are the cutest coats, I think I might need one myself!

I used to get uptight about what the boys wore and yet, lately, I find myself not caring and enjoying Elijah going to the grocery store in dress pants, dress shirt (buttoned all by himself - you can imagine), a Diego hat and flip flops! Or, insisting on squeezing into a homemade T-shirt with Noah's picture on it that is about 4 sizes too small (exposing the belly!) I love it!

Anyway, I think that some people help us to release our "inner dog". My sister is one of those people - I feel free and silly around her and it's always such a release to be carefree and just laugh at myself.

You can just feel somehow it's gotta be good for your heart - literally.

Cute post.

Totally! That´s my boys for sure. I need to let them more often instead of being concerned. You see everyone knows us here. It´s hard sometimes to let things go.. but these coats are great! They would definitely turn heads here! ;)
They would work great for Carnaval. LOL
