Water, Water Everywhere

It was a beautiful day. Absolutely lovely....and warm (woo hoo!). I was admiring my flower baskets when I noticed some activity off to the side.......

Upon closer inspection, I find two very cute and mischievous boys....the dynamic duo having some water fun. Seems to be their favorite outdoor activity.

For some reason....trying to fit into a small tub of water seemed like the right thing to do. I'm sure Sam was thinking....you go first. At least Ross took his shoes off first.

Then they pulled out the water soakers.... I like their strategy......spray and run.

Hmmm, instead of each other....why don't we find some targets.

The grill always makes a fun target. Especially if you are into tricky targets....up and over the deck railing.

After some target practice.....they moved onto some other fun.

If you call dipping your head into a bucket of dirty water fun....? Whatever floats your boat ;)

Lol, I love it! Water play is never dull. My kids love buckets of water. Funny how we buy so many toys and the simplest objects provide the most imaginative play.

And it looks just beautiful there at your place. How lovely!

Summer, water, and boys.....yup. They go together, lol!

Mine used to love to play outside. Now they go to the water park, or wave running on the lake and tonight they're at the beach with a bunch of friends from church.

Somebody is taking a guitar and they're going to sing worship songs on the beach! Cool!

Smiling at him trying to fit in the bucket...something my boys would try to do.

That is too funny. Sticking their head in a bucket of dirty water. My son would have been trying to chase me around with the hose.

Love the progression! It´s so great they have each other. They just rebound off of each other. one thing after the other. That´s out ours are. They are constant movement. Never stopping to even pause.
What a great day!

On a really hot day, I might dip my head into a bucket of dirty water. I just might! Great photos! My boys love playing in water, too. We have a round bucket that I fill up for the purpose of filling up water guns. Someone always, always, always gets in it.
