We are still working on getting our routine back to our usual groove. Our energy levels are slowling coming back.....actually, I'm not sure that the boy's energy levels ever changed. How do kids do that? Some things that have been going on........
We I put together a couple puppets from this easy peasy Martha Stewart puppet kit. The boys were not very interested.....the puppets turned out to be really small, but cute. I think it brought us
2 minutes of some fun. I decided to put the kit away for another day. I don't think we are in puppet mode these days.......
The boys are in more of a Beanie Baby mode ......they like to sort them and make teams....football, baseball, soccer. They have a system to it all.....they try to give every Beanie a chance.....even the skunks and
we know how they feel about skunks.
We've been feeling a lot of this.....
There's been much praying and pondering going on............
Too much eating of these.........way too much.
Thankfully, still much of this going on.......Slowly getting our groove back. Actually, maybe we aren't getting our groove back.....maybe our groove is just changing :)

Love the pictures of the boys! They warm my heart each time I see them both in person and in a picture.
I understand what you're saying about changing grooves..we are doing the same here.
Love ya!!
I made it onto yours so not sure of "my" issue over there. Maybe the puppets will make another appearance soon! Very cute!
Love it...all of it!!!
I'm so glad you're feeling yourselves again!!
We LOVE ;) Scrabble Slam!!
Oh, and candy bars too! ;)
I think we have the same countertops!
Mimi,
Thanks for commenting on my blog! I don't mind at all. : )
Your words were encouraging and practical, so thanks for that. I am praying and hoping to make progress in this area slowly but surely. Using my computer when the children are sleeping is a good time to do it and one thing I am striving towards.
So thanks for the encouragement. It's so amazing to be able to share and encourage other moms we have never even met!
And I enjoyed browsing quickly over your blog.
Change is good, I say. Always go with the flow & enjoy the ride. :)
Glad to hear it!
I feel ya on the candy. I'm ready to throw it all away!
Great photos :D and I think your puppets are really cute! Oh well, maybe save them for an Easter puppet show? lol.
Love the pictures!
Push forward Mary, healing is taking place. Take care of yourself and your little family first...Jesus is in the middle of your change...Everything that happens to us is designed to conform us into His image. Have a wonderful day!!!!
I think I'm gonna have a "groovy" brain for the rest of the day now. Got "groove" songs stuck in my head. =0)
Love your new header, Mimi!
Have a happy hump day!
Glad to see you're getting back to 'normal'!
It always feels good to either get back to normal or just get a new groove! Just glad you are groovin' either way!
Glad things are getting back to normal. Your boys are so cute with their beanies :). I love the puppets, I'll have to check it out on Martha's site and print out the info./template, Oliver would enjoy it.
xx
btw, that candy looks yummy, I have such a sweet tooth!!
I tossed the candy. It was speaking my love language a little too much. My boys do the same thing with their webkinz....drag them all out and have elaborate games with them.
Its so funny...because our mojo has changed too. And for some weird reason... i like it better. Which is really not how things usually go when it comes to keeping up with the school schedule.
Maybe its 40 calling...lifes to short to not give yourself the grace of flexibilty!
I think the puppets are adorable!
Hey Mimi! I'm reading all the posts I've missed due to our move...it makes me miss you, even though we only actually met, what, twice? ;) I just wanted too say that it looks like we have the same furniture...we bought new furniture when we moved as it was LONG over due....but we bought the green with taupe trim. We're loving our set, but yours is pretty too. And we all think it's cimpfy, which was definitely lacking in our 10-year-old leather set. I'm enjoying catching up and I will be sure to pray for you guys some more. I am so encouraged by you and your honesty, your attitude. Your husband is lucky and blessed to have a wife like you, and your boys have a very special mom. I want to be likeyou when I grow up! Seriously, I think if we'd stayed in the area I would have had to get know you better. Now I hope to do that through our blogs. Take care!
