Another Day at the Park

We've really enjoyed visiting different local parks this summer. I guess it's our version of a "stay-cation". Each park has been somewhat unique and full of fun.....usually our imaginations fuel that fun. At this park, we started on the teeter totters......G and I were on the other side of this one. Up...down....up....down.....honestly, a bit boring after awhile. So, we moved on.....

G seems to always play on the zip line or the monkey bars. I have to admit, I've never been able to do the monkey bars.....
.....finding some football thingy-ma- jigs to attack....more up my alley. Though, I definitely hit that thing like a little girl. The 3 boys on the other hand....

....ran at those things with full force.

I'm not sure what was going on....but, they seemed to all know what they were doing and had some fun.

Fun, until the big rain drops started coming down....then Mama was the first to run to the car.

No wonder you couldn't really attack the football thingys...you were running in flip flops! That explains it all. Those things better be glad about that too!

Ha ha ha, I can just imagine ME trying to run at those football dummies. You go girl for even trying it!

And is that a NEW PROFILE PICTURE, Mimi? That's one extra pretty smile ya got going on. {{as Captain AmErica pats herself on the back once again for another job well done --- cuz you know you thought of me raggin on you when you took it, right?}}

The Lord really does know what He's doing. I am so glad that I have girls! I couldn't imagine playing that football game thing, or baseball or any of those boy things! I'm am SO thankful that my girls are into horses. Now, that's what I call fun! I'm glad you guys had a good (boy) time at the park.

Do you ever notice how the best days are when you find the fun in your 'local' back yard? Looks like so much fun...my kind of day.

Scrolled down to see what I missed this weekend...so glad your G man is back with you all...complete once again.

Those are the times your boys will cherish the most! Just the quality time doing the simple things are what they remember!!
