Because The Daisies Were Lonely

As soon as I saw those lovely Daisies on Mother's Day morning....I knew we would be adding more. I've said it before, I love flowers. That could also translate....I heart flowers. So, a flower shopping we would go......We took both our cars, knowing we would be needing the room. So, of course I jumped at the chance to capture a shot of G walking with the boys. Gets me every time.
I also love photo's of flowers. A glorious... colorful ...abundance of flowers. Oh, where should we begin? So many to choose.

The boys were each armed with their carts.....we meant business. Even though these photos will not prove it...I promise I was there....acting as paparazzi and all.

We decided to let the boys do some choosing.....because I am terrible at making decisions anyways. Might as well leave it up to the little guys, they know what they like and their decisions are usually final. Unlike mine.

They made some very good choices....I say as a proud momma and flower lover.

There is something about spring and flowers....it just brings out the love in us. The boys decided right there in the garden center to share the love. They started passing out "spring hugs". That was the exact term that they used. They started with G and then moved on to each other. I loved that my big ,little men were loving on each other....and I have to say it caused a few "awwws" from other shoppers...which the boys did not even notice. They were in their twin zone.....
....and even did a "one legged spring hug" again, their words. BTW-we are actually Yankee fans, not sure how that Mets shirt got on our little guy?

A good flower shopping trip and hug fest should always end with some ice cream. It's in the spring rule book.

And when we go out for ice cream.....generosity is a plus. G always likes a taste. Flowers, hugs and ice cream.....yes, as I mentioned.....we are all welcoming spring with open arms....and mouths.

What a glorious day!!! I love flower shopping. I love how affectionate your boys are with one another. My girls are like that, but Alec is not a hugger. . . I wish he was.

Gerber Daisies are some of my faves. But I LOVE Zinnias...mostly because I am not a good plant mom...I tend to kill plants!

Tenderhearted boys...does it get much better than that?

Love to see that they love each other. I treasure those (few and far between) moments with my boys.

I would plant flowers, but there are cheaper ways to feed the deer.

Love it when the kids "feel the love." I love when it happens in the most random places. And I especially love the "one legged spring hugs." That is the best description ever.

I don't love that you all are Yankee fans. Oh well. Can't win them all, I guess.

I declare this to be the official " Your Kids Could Not Be Any Cuter Day!". Seriously....something about boys feelin' the love turns me to pure mush!

And Woot! Woot! for ice cream! Which also turns me to mush.

You sound as in aww of flowers as I am. I love spring and love filling in my flower beds with new and pretty flowers. I did all my flower planting on mothers day and everything looks wonderful. We did the nursery thing also and my boys helped pick out the flowers. I would buy everything if I could afford it.

I need to get me that "Spring Rule Book"! Not that I am going to forget that rule any day soon. We are headed to the nursery this week...then its off to get ice cream...thanks for keeping me up to speed.

Looks like you had a great nursery and beautiful flowers to pick from.

Mimi...you guys are just toooo cute! Love the "twin zone." How funny, my two older kids are 10 1/2 months apart and everyone thought they were twins when they were little. They used to get in their little zones too!!! Love all the hugs!!!!

What fun...I especially love the picture of your little guys hugging (very sweet). I certainly would have been an awwww shopper that day.

Funny, I can't make decisions either so my 3 yr old picked our flowers this year...mostly purple her favorite!
